Founded in 1976 as an independent fleet leasing company, we built our reputation on long-term relationships, transparent guidance, and a commitment to doing what is right for the customer. Our story began when Morris Glesby, Gerald Rauch, and Jay Marks, experienced entrepreneurs with backgrounds in the oilfield supply, energy, real estate, and automotive industries, recognized a growing need for flexible fleet financing that traditional banks were not meeting. After successfully launching and selling a previous fleet leasing venture, they formed Glesby Marks to support the rapidly expanding oil and gas markets in Texas and Louisiana.
As customer needs changed, we adapted. Glesby Marks expanded into a full-service fleet management company, offering maintenance, fuel, and remarketing programs to clients across the country. Our founding leaders played a key role in the development of the American Automotive Leasing Association, helping establish the foundation of the modern fleet management industry.
